Bringing children’s imaginations to life, one story at a time! Kayla Leon is a mom of two inspiring kiddos with a passion for writing magical children’s books that spark the imagination, so that children can grow their passions and parents can create lasting memories with their little ones.

If she isn’t jotting down notes for her next children’s book, you’d most likely find Kayla gardening in her greenhouse, sipping on coffee or dancing in the kitchen with her family, including their four-legged friend Lincoln.

Kayla is passionate about helping parents raise their kids with creativity and imagination. She believes that every child deserves to grow up in an environment where they are encouraged to be themselves and express their creativity.

Kayla’s son James was the inspiration for her book, What a Mess, Kid. At a very young age, Kayla could tell that James had a creative, intelligent mind; his eyes lit up every time he learned something new. Kayla recognized this joy in her son, and knew that having a wondrous mind would lead James on many a great adventure.

Kayla grew up in the small town of Aylmer, Qc. She loves where she is from and she is a big supporter of local business. She lives her life knowing that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. The sky is never the limit.
